自川普上任以來，他已對無條件支持尼坦雅胡在巴勒斯坦準備建國土地上興建更多屯墾住宅的政策保持距離，同時也對原本承諾要將美國駐以色列大使館從特拉維夫(Tel Aviv)搬到耶路撒冷有所保留。

特拉維夫國家安全研究中心(INSS)的政治研究員海勒(Mark Heller)表示，有關搬遷大使館的議題是「次要議題，這樣程度的承諾不太可能兌現。」

川普對以色列政策的再思考態度，對支持尼坦雅胡政府的屯墾遊說團體原先的期待帶來一大挑戰，也對以色列其他右翼團體帶來衝擊，他們一直希望至少能兼併部份的約旦河西岸土地。

親以色列的「今日以色列報」(Israel Hayom)10日刊登一項訪談指出，川普表示增加屯墾「不利和平」。

自川普1月20日就任美國總統以來，尼坦雅胡已宣佈增加興建5千個屯墾住宅計畫，引發國際譴責。

（中央社義大利威勒特利14日綜合外電報導）活到老、學到老。義大利1名70歲老翁，每天凌晨打開書本唸書，至今已拿到15個學、碩士學位，還要再繼續攻讀第16個。

法新社報導，拜雅提（Luciano Baietti），住在鄰近羅馬亞爾巴山（Alban Hills）的城鎮威勒特利（Velletri），大多待在他的小屋與花園裡，消磨一天時間，但他每天凌晨3時打開課本，開始讀書。

拜雅提現擁15個來自義大利各大學的學、碩士學位，並已開始攻讀第16個。家裡牆上掛滿的各種學位證書證明他真的很「猛」，另有一個錶框的19世紀法國散文作家柏譚（Louis-Francois Bertin）肖像，拜雅提說是柏譚影響了他。

曾任私立中學校長的拜雅提說：「他是位兼具文化與知識的人士」。拜雅提2002年時就以8個學位，被列入金氏紀錄，當時他已有社會學、文學、法律、政治科學與哲學等學位，大多來自世界最古老大學、著名的羅馬第一大學（La Sapienza University）。

之後他又取得7個學位，包括透過遠距教學、於杜林大學（Turin）獲得的犯罪學學位，以及本月初才從那不勒斯（Naples）一所線上大學拿到最新的觀光學位。
